Process Piping Fabrication Overview

DIME International provides complete piping spool fabrication services for carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials, with no limitations on pipe diameter or fabrication capacity. All fabrication complies with international and local standards including ASME B31.3, B31.1, B16.5, B16.9, and client-specific requirements from QatarEnergy (QE), QE LNG, NOC, Ashghal, and QCS.

Scope of work includes:

  • Prefabricated spools, supports, hangers, guides, and shoes
  • Shop fabrication and on-site welding of connections
  • Hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
  • Leak detection and quality verification

Quality Assurance, Testing & HSE

We follow strict quality and safety practices to ensure reliable and compliant process piping fabrication. All work is backed by ERP-based traceability and certified inspection procedures.

Fabrication & QA:

  • Welding per approved WPS/PQR (ASME Section IX)
  • Full material traceability via ERP and Material Test Certificates (MTCs)
  • NDT methods: Radiographic (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Optional insulation or cladding based on project needs

HSE Considerations:

  • Designated safe welding zones with fire protection and PPE
  • Controlled handling of large-diameter piping
  • Permit-to-work system for on-site welding activities
